“Killing Fields” Music Video: Big Shanty Band

In 2006, I shot one of my first music videos. I had the pleasure to work with the band Big Shanty. The song “Killing Fields” is a political jam about the perils of the political potentates and the carnage created by war.

It was shot at night in the front yard of a band member with one camera (Panasonic DVX100b -SD). The chilling slide show was rear screen projected. With cross lighting and a little smoke, it gave the band an eerie venue for this thought provoking video.

“Killing Fields”  video was produced, directed and edited by Robby Heisner of Van Gogh Inc. an award winning video production studio in metro-Atlanta (Smyrna). jb
